Gilles Peterson played some great Bob Marley at the weekend and this is appropriate for the interior decor of where we have been today.
Eight years ago this month paid work came to an end for me. Of course, at the time, I thought it would be maternity leave of 6 months or a year but, three children later, it didn't turn out that way.
And with that began Tuesdays with my Mum, who worked full time at that time and Tuesday was her day off. Eight years on and it is our regular rhythm to spend Tuesdays with Grandma. No swimming or London days today though after a half way rendezvous we are having a change of scene at G&G's house.
We have been to Clandon Park today, an impressive National Trust property where the previous owners clearly had a passion for birds and secret doors
S completed the fabulous children's trail in the house which was not at all patronising and had a clipboard! Most useful - Of course this could be a gallivanter's blog about children's activity packs and increasingly about National Trusts houses too.
At the moment they are providing a great home ed inspiration and resource and today was no exception. Great staff, really helpful, interested in home education.
Bit of a scrambled post today as I have written it on my phone and can't work out how to turn the photos round.
Yesterday evening was lovely. A family effort to complete a jigsaw plus allotment & stories.
