Three - Is the magic number

The latest DC Super Hero book haul from the library yesterday (and some beautiful sweet peas my Mum bought me this morning.) Chichester library files the books under author (& they all have a different one) whilst Horsham library groups them together by genre. No wonder they are confusing for our Pulborough librarians to order in. We only know because we have seen them psychically in all three libraries.
E gave up waiting for me to clear the table and moved this cutting and sticking project to the floor!!
Brothers do duplo

In the main today has been a home day for the gallivanters in which I have completely changed all the beds , following a den making game which saw them all a little dusty, and dealt with the ongoing harvesting of soft fruits from the garden. Blackcurrants turned to coulis and raspberries frozen. And also sorted out our plans for the last weeks before the schools break up or out depending on where in the world or the country you live. Conjures a strange mental picture to me, the idea of school breaking up, like into loads of little pieces of brick, chalk and text book ready to be reassembled during the summer holidays.

S & E went swimming with Grandma this morning whilst O, 3, and stayed behind and made cheesy feet. Something overcame him after they were baked and after offering them around he pretty much ate the lot! It is lovely watching him enjoy some of the activities S and E enjoyed at this age and being way more relaxed out him doing them.

O, 3, makes cheesy threes!! This recipe is a regular on the blog and is great for using cutters without making a sweet recipe.
S rewatched "Carries War" with breakfast and "Goodnight Mr Tom" with lunch, something has her set off on the second world war theme again and she had Grandma for company, both films have really sad endings so I avoided being suckered in!

Operation Austerity has been good today, just as well as two unexpected bills landed on the mat yesterday.

Seen to always forget screen activities.

S is really into this Barbie game and can now do it blindfold

O and E have been (inbetween tap dragon park and dinosaur war) playing this lego app on the tablet where you drag the bricks using your finger on the screen. They really like it - It inspires them to go off and build for real then they come back to the PC - to them it is like a reference book or instruction manual.

A new generation.
