Had to be done.
As if often the way downloading the thoughts changed the direction and the remainder of the day was really cool.
The trio do not judge whole days as Sandra Dodd says they are moment to moment and move on.
S's, now fairly regular, Sunday night creativity burst did not disappoint last night - funny when she came down and said that she was going to do some drawing and painting and she made this really cute anniversary cards and then I realised it was 9pm on Sunday night!

Today we have been to Petworth House to see the Olympic torch sadly it was very damp and raining. But the journey in was straight forward and we found a good spot to perch and we went with a great friend which made a big difference. Around the other side there were large crowds including about 800 school children and E was interested at the park that they were heading back to school afterwards.
We were going to hang about and see house again but everyone was cold and damp so we came home and headed to the library to sign up for the summer story lab and complete the treasure hunt around the library.
The torch - Don't blink! S was a bit underwhelmed I think she was expecting more.
Waiting!

Forgot July Austerity update.
Faced with >£1000 of unexpected and expected bills this month I have been trying really really hard to monitor our food budget and only go to places we have memberships for.
So far I have done really well only £12.50 for the new Novium and some duck food at the wetlands so far otherwise we have taken total picnics on all of our gallivants and no one has had any new clothes (yet!)
Half way point in the month and exactly half of the £100 petrol allocation is used!
But today I blew it in the library and spent £4 renting DVDs
Foolish really in the sense we, almost certainly, could have bought them for less on amazon or ebay but it was an instant "Why not?" when faced with the prospect of yet another wet afternoon.
O and I did jigsaws for a couple of hours not what you would expect in mid July.
Petworth House and the torch today was free as we are members
