A Summer Place

Sometimes it works out just as you need.

A walk to the village coupled with the stroll around Warnham expired the boys leaving TDO and I with a rare evening of wine and film. Just what was required.

We watched a film called An Education that arrived from lovefilm before the Euro football championships, very enjoyable story. No escape from our theme.

S has been to the wedding dress exhibition at our local village church this morning with Weed, she enjoyed it so much she has just persuaded Grandma to take her for a return visit. She is the first member of our family to have been inside the church I asked her what it was like and she told me it was "Full of seats and stuff" but that the dresses were "awesome."

Otherwise its been lego pyramids, painting, allotment, youtube, iplayer and G&G calling in for a spontaneous visit sort of Saturday. Oh, and two gallivants to Warnham, one to Cass and another to the lavender farm meant there was no alternative but to hoover the mud from the car. I wonder if they would like it back?
