It's Alright (I Feel It)

The blog could really do with being tidied up a bit, it has had the same look for a while now and the strap line at the top is only a few days away from out of date!

I mostly blog on the android phone or tablet now and such formatting changes really need the mother ship PC version of the blogger software.

There are several links I'd like to add to a side bar including: the upcoming Autonomous Ed conference and the latest Parliamentary Committee and the work of Charlotte Rochez.

Talking of whom Charlotte came along to last night's adult socials which I realised, as I was eating my tiramisu, we have been hosting for 6 years!

It was Great. Very positive. 3 wonderful mothers and one gorgeous baby plus, as the boys crashed out so early, TDO stayed and chatted too.

Home ed is so right for us. We covered all sorts of topics as usual: Friendships, family reactions, Charlotte told us about her experiences in BC where funding is available to home educators, interesting as that is back on the agenda in England (see link at top of page) As I have mentioned on the blog before if it isn't something organised in your area already it really is a worthwhile thing to do.

Today we have been at Grandma and Grandie's for the day sharing ideas on our upcoming holiday to Center Parcs. E went to the woods with Grandie before the rain came and, as it rained all afternoon, we have played snap and backgammon and beat your neighbour out of doors and marble run and Mario Kart on the Wii and watched  Horrible Histories songs and found out they were probably Sea Slaters we saw in the rock pools last week and trimmed fringes which I am certain were only snipped a few weeks ago and....
All good. No complaints.
New special fimos including marble, champagne and glitter gold.

O rides the draft excluder lamb

New back packs for holiday from Grandma and Grandie.
