Candy Girl

Candy Girl
This tune came on the video stream at the gym today. Was I really 11 when it was a hit! three years behind front man Bobby Brown.
Stayed up late playing Scalextric last night! A family Easter gift from The Daddy One via ebay :) It is a pretty neat digital track with the ability to change lanes the cars are not great though or maybe my skills are lacking! You might remember this post about the toy exhibition at Hove Museum in mid March - I think The Daddy One had just been waiting for the crew to show an interest!
Went to the gym this morning, hit a bird on the way there, odd in that two days ago , making the same journey, the driver in front of me whacked a pheasant. Completed my rowing, lat pull downs, stretches etc etc okay - My weight has stayed the same which is great as I have been eating more normally and have enjoyed several glasses of wine which, you'll be pleased to hear, doesn't taste funny anymore! A soap Opera style recap if you haven't read the blog in a while, my goal was to shift 10kgs by Baby Small's 3rd birthday at the end of this month, with 3 weeks still to go I have shifted 12kgs and so, given that I do not want to have my engagement, wedding and eternity rings resized am aiming to stick where I have arrived.
Am really wondering where my windows of time have gone, only 4 or so months ago I was devoting well over an hour each day to helping local people interested in home education and not so many months before that additionally finding space for breastfeeding queries too.
In Other News
  • S, 7, is reading "Little House on the Prairie." I bought it for her at Christmas and she didn't seem much interested in it but I noticed her reading it earlier and she is over half way through!
  • Feeling a bit out of the loop in adult social world - have many unanswered messages and unfinished conversations going on.

Those race track bring back memories-we had one for Alex (although I think his dad played with it far more !)
If the cars stick, a bit of WD40 does wonders :)

Pleased to hear that the wine is tasting how it should !

Yes, it is definitely a "family" gift :)

Cheers for the tip - The honda sticks a bit and of course everyone wants to be the Ferrari ;-)

Notice on the Scalextric website they have a schools project. Any home educators ever used this?
