"Hands up in the air. It's the weekend, it's time to party."
You may well be treated to two blog posts today. That is because The Daddy One has taken S, 7, to see 'David Hockney: A Bigger Picture' at the Royal Academy of Arts for a Daddy daughter London day. He is off for two weeks on Sunday the longest any of us will have been apart ever in our 12 years together.
After word game and play doh birthday cakes first thing, tasty! Smart Sandals aka Weed came over to care for the boys whilst I headed to the gym. Those scales tell me I weigh 1.5kg less than last week. Getting there dot com! On the gym scales I am down around 7 kilos since mid Feb. Closer than close to my 10kg target :)
So it goes. January 9, when all this began, seems a cold memory eating salad in the snow. Am over half way through now, have done 10 weeks with 5 to go til April 24 my target date when Baby Small is three. The goal of shifting 10kg looking by then is looking very realistic with gym membership running til end May,
These are the things I have missed slash am missing most- Take away curry.
- Wine. More specifically cold, white, crisp.
- Toast & butter
- Milky coffee
- Tiramisu.
- Coffee walnut sponge cake closely tied with the epic carrot cake from Petworth deli
- Lisa's macaroon recipe that I never got to try before operation diet commenced.

After gym and lunch the boys and I headed to Hesworth Common as we had use of The Daddy One's car (the caravelle is too wide and high to fit through the entrance frame. At least I think it is, I haven't actually tried it because the ground is so muddy and bumpy the greater danger is that we would be stuck inside!)
We haven't been to Hesworth Common since we lost E, 5, (who was then 4) there last year but it was his suggestion to return.
Obviously the morning's cardio vascular was insufficient as they marched me up to the top of the hill from where we were afforded a great view of the downs and then home via the Helter Skelter park. Great to have a home ish day after a full week of gallivants that has seen us at: Intech, swimming, Fishers Farm, Hove Museum and the beach. A little chilly today though.
