Ready or not................

Books with wheels and books that are really several jigsaw puzzles without a box will find no welcome on these shelves.
Following on from yesterday's post the great book reorganise continues. Baby Small still enjoys many of the board books so our collection has been expanding without end for 7 years now. My progress is slow as we are having frequent story breaks! The Daddy One is busy outside painting the fence. He made the great blue boxes in these photos much better for irregular shape books than shelves. Today I was struck by how few non fiction books we have in regular use. A few on Romans, Egyptians, a clutch on Space and several on the Human Body but clearly the internet is now, by far, our major resource for research and answering of questions.

I like the cube idea. And my son would go crazy for those Harry Potter sticker books! He just received a bunch of Pirates of the Carribean and Spiderman ones for Christmas.

I can't post you a cube Christina!! (they are great for the kind of books that don't work well on shelves) but if you can't get hold of Harry Potter Lego Sticker books I could post you some.

Ps Guys - Would a blog post on making cubes be useful? I could ask the daddy one to put together some instructions. He took his inspiration for similar ones (that are on wheels) in our local library. You could paint them any which way of course.

I'd like that!
