Cars Cars

S's lego girls she made today. A girl ninja, Indian Princess and a skater girl with a pink hair streak in this little gang.
O helps out in the kitchen on Reg's ladder. The colours in the kitchen are inspired by Veuve Clicquot champagne. The ceiling is the dive in chocolate brown of the lettering and looks like a lake of melted milk chocolate buttons and the walls are the signature orange.

Today's music is bought to you by Orin, 2, who adores all things cars cars.

The Smalls had fun with The Daddy One last night learning how to play chess.

Bit of an early post today as I am going to be popping out in my usual blogging window to collect my car which passed it's MOT. Hooray. We can gallivant again.

The Daddy One crashed out early last night so I stayed under the covers, it was too cold for much else, and caught up on my blogs on I follow. I think many people must have made "blog more" a new year resolution because there were many posts! I read them on the tablet so the comment function doesn't always work (depending on the choices made from the huge selection of comment options I think)

Have several new ideas for things to try as a result and generally feel empowered and supported when I remember that all over the country, world maybe, there are people living in a similar way to us.

We dropped the car off this morning and walked home from the garage. Seemed like a bright idea when I booked it in and the weather was milder. Reg is still here and we have played much lego this morning. Fortunately the lego is upstairs where the temperature is much more to my taste.

Not eaten any biscuits or cakes or crisps or had any wine (apart from one Bloody Mary!) and not eaten any children's left overs at all! For a week now.

Hmm seems you have a spam comment! Anyway, love the cool lego chicks, but particularly drooling over your orange walls. And very impressed re leftovers and wine. I certainly can't say the same :-/

I used to have similar orange walls like that in my living room and found it such an upbeat colour to live with. Loving it matched with chocolate brown.

Also very impressed at self restraint re: wine, leftovers etc!
