S's Space picture with rockets and planets
Steamy Windows - E (5) practises his writing.
E on the bed watching youtube clips
The latest Usborne Sticker Dolly Dressing arrived int he post yesterday. Regular readers will know S, 7, is a big fan of these. The latest is Dream Jobs and S liked the Forensic Scientist page best. Hopefully they will soon be an android app.
My 500 piece jigsaw - it is central London A-Z. I had it when I was pregnant with S. Fantastic for road knowledge and the pieces are all rounded.
A no show from Citylink meant our "office" party didn't go quite to plan last night. Hopes were raised when the local postman offered to pop back with a parcel but it was the wrong one and then the door bell rang again but with another "unwanted" parcel!
So, we watched Atlantis instead. We haven't watched it for ages and it is pretty cool.
Then E started asking me "Who invented DVDs?" "Who invented Windows Media Centre?" and so fell asleep talking about Bill Gates.
I stayed up and did a jigsaw. Feeling very deflated that he clean and tidy home we returned home to 7 or so hours before was looking anything but, the toilet roll Andrex Puppied, the moisturising soap I indulged in to prevent winter hands used to bathe the Barbie Crew.......... Very relaxing escapism. Left it for S to finish off this morning.
So it goes.
This is the third Christmas I think that S & E have been to Grandma and Grandie's for a pre-Christmas weekend sleepover and the emotional scaring caused by clearing out the cupboards of old and broken toys has become something of a tradition. It is tricky though as O is still very into the younger toys.
It's Friday so help is here this morning allowing me to pack. Rocket pictures, butterfly bags and Horrible Histories are happening. Fantastic strewing.
E wrote his name on the window this morning. He likes tracing shapes with his fingers

Love the rocket picture and your map puzzle has given me an idea for my 9 year old who absolutely loves maps. Thank you!
Slowly remembering winter activities It was Sandra Dodd's website that nudged me about jigsaws - I have ordered several other maps (europe / world) for the new year too :-) but the London one is briliant - I feel like a taxi driver when we are doing it!
