Industrial Revolutions
The Daddy One and I fell in love with this song after hearing it on Concrete Circus earlier this year so today we bought the album. Really disapointed! This is the best track on it by far but the album version is no where near as good as this one.
Earlier this week I broke a blogging rule that I made for myself when I started keeping this online journal of our home educating journey 9 months ago. I mentioned body fluids. In the post where I talk about being awoken by the words "Mum, I've had a nose bleed." and so today I have paid the penalty and have cleaned up more human excrement that feels rightly just. That is all you need to know. No more vomit, milk, blood, mucus etc will grace these pages again I have been told!

Outside of that today has been another early, 5am, start for the smallest and I. I have survived on way less sleep that now previously in my life but, put simply, I am out of practise and consequently I am shattered! Thankful then that The Daddy One had a day off today and, being Friday, we had two hours of our lovely home ed helper. Today she and the children: made hand rolled beeswax candles, created fish fridge magnets, played word games, produced Halloween cards of black paper with colours underneath and, thanks to an extra pair of hands, I was able to help life this one tonne allotment water tank into position. There are plans for a solar powered pump to water automatically to the raised next summer. Watch this space. The allotment looks all hibernating with covers on the raised beds and the greenhouse all washed for winter.

After a home made pizza lunch we headed to some local, 3 miles away, home ed friends for play and cup cake decorating.
