S is making a Barbie art gallery as I type. Inspired by our visit to Pallant House in Chichester this morning. E really likes it there too. O was not so sure so I didn't get to see too much outside of a coffee in the courtyard but that's okay. We didn't go there for my benefit. Whilst we were there I overheard a lady say to her friend "I was always really fascinated by history but hopeless at remembering dates so I never did very well at school."
After the gallery we picked up some M&S sandwiches and headed for our first visit to the new look Priory Park which opened at the start of the summer holidays. It is very wooden, almost Germanic in appearance and can be added to West Park and Pondtail Road as a good zip wire park. It was fine today as we have paternal Grandma and Grandad and The Daddy One but I suspect it was designed by someone with one or no children as the seasaw and swingboat seat are round the corner which means there are very few vantage points from which you can see all of your children all of the time.
We drove home via Goodwood Racetrack (the one for cars not horses) and had a good look at the lotus cars, helicopters, tractors, a ferrari daytona and small aircraft. The Daddy One and the boys love it there. Classic retro chic.
Then we stopped in at The Trundle for a look at the view. A truly outstanding vantage point, West Sussex is such a beautiful place to live. Worthing on Thursday, Horsham on Friday, Chichester today. Tomorrow I am staying home to pack. See you when we get back.

The place looks really, really fun. I'm from the States and am always jealous of the playground in Europe. They're much more creative then ours.
Come for a holiday Chris x
I know that feeling well, when my four were small visiting playgrounds was such a panicky thing for me by myself. four children off in all different directions, some nights I wouldn't sleep thinking about how easy it could have been for them to wander off. Some playgrounds just are not designed for parents of muliple children at all! Funny now because all of my younger three tend to go to the exact same piece of equipment!?! Hope you enjoy the holiday and I'm very much looking forward to the sussex properties to buy/rent being emailed my way :-))
