Loved the LL Cool J bit on "How Hip Hop Changed the World" reminded me of this old photo of Middle Small at 20 months old sporting his white kangol sunhat. Before you go thinking I like to dress my children as wanna be rap stars this hat is old, seriously old, in fact it was mine in 1998 so, at the time this picture was taken back in 2008, the hat was 10 years old! I wonder if I could find a picture of me in it! I wore it a lot so maybe, might involve scanner action though as it would be stone age.
Swimming and library for Big Smalls today with Grandma plus they have been playing schools. I love how home educated children play at "school." S wrote down some words for E to copy. Been to the allotment. The red in the allotment photo is beautiful. The poppies, the T-Shirt, the shoes and the tomatoes. S has also been colouring in Medieval fashions, writing letters and painting shells.
Baby Small, who is 28 months now and still way smaller than E in the kangol photo ( in fact you might recognise the shirt from the weekends photos) is teething. Big back monster action. He has been cute today though. "I am two, Mummy is 39"

The girls and Ruben love playing schools too! Although I suppose the girls have been to school but it was so long ago now that I doubt they recall that much of it. That photo is beautiful by the way
