Far from a lazy Sunday today. The Daddy One took the biggest smalls swimming first thing whilst Baby Small and I stayed home and waited for an ebayer to collect, we had the best games! Middle Small acquired new wellies on the way home from the pool visit, fortunate given the weather today.
Big Small has gone for her first every non-family sleepover tonight, she didn't eat the jacket potato and orange cheese I made her for breakfast, despite it being her favourite nor hardly any of the pea risotto I made for her lunch, which is her second favourite, as she was so excited.
We left The Daddy One at home to attend to the Orchestra of funny noises our house and its domestic appliances are making at the moment, otherwise known as changing the syphon washer and defrosting the fridge and doing some maintence on the overloaded PC network. Hopefullt this will silence the symphony! Then we headed to Goring by Sea to drop Big Small off, she seemed totally fine and I think she will be okay but I am on late night stand by for a collection if needed. I suspect she will enjoy the midnight feast before commiting herself!
The boys and I then headed to a joint 6 & 8 year old birthday party in Barnham, another family in our home ed group, Middle Small's behaviour has been FANTASTIC! When rain (well thunder & lightening) stopped bouncy castle play in the garden and we had to retreat inside I was concerned but he has been amazing. Super star. I could share with you now that our homeopath gave him a remedy this week but I am going to wait a little longer and see how things go. I hope you haven't filed me under 'witch' now.
Early today I was catching up on the blogs I follow and someone had written that they did not much to write about lately apart from the boring things that fill my days. Our days are never boring! Sometimes too high tempo, always adventurous but how can life with little people and one eye out for quality choice architecture ever be boring?
