Living as a home educating family requires living on one salary and so I have learnt a different kind of economics from that I was taught during my degree. Frugality.
Yesterday I found a money saving voucher for lego that offered 79% off the entrance price. I thought it was too good too be true so I did have several back up vouchers in the car but no, it wasn't. So today, we saved £115 on this transaction. Using the voucher it is £15 to take an adult and pre-schooler to legoland in term time on selected days. The voucher is here
I like the way it says Legoland Windor is the perfect place to enjoy a day out whilst everyone else is at school and that we did. We didn't have to queue once. We did use several vouchers as there were 8 of us but each voucher said in very very teeny tiny letters at the bottom only one per transaction so we all went in separately.
There are voucher codes for intech too which admit a free child for every paying adult. I forgot to add those to my blog after our trip to intech last week.
Martin Lewis was at University of Sussex when I was back in the early nineties but, so far as I am aware, our paths never crossed.

Thank you for the link to the voucher Katie, we've been looking for a way to make Legoland affordable :-)
It is such an amazing deal!
