Park Life

At The Smalls request we have a very social week lined up this week so today was the first instalment. Horsham Park this morning and Fittleworth Park this afternoon. We have seen 7 home ed friends altogether today, 10 if you count the Mummies!
I think it was mostly pirates, football and sand at Horsham, funny as the boys had blue stripy tops on so looked a little pirate-ish. Baby Small has taken to wearing the Lightening McQueen helmet, I think it rather suits him. I had a coffee from The Conservatory to start the day, they make a fab coffee. We had a picnic lunch at Fittleworth and met some more friends there, before they arrived I was chatting to some Grandparents, when they asked S why she wasn't at school S said "I'm home educated." and they said "That's brilliant, good for you." never let it be said I only report bad news! When we arrived home a much anticpiated box from Playmobil had arrived containing the Egyptian family. They have been named Anthony, Cleopatra and the children are Isis & Tutankhamen.
They have settled in quickly and shortly after being unboxed and taken off i heard this
"I need some water for the Egyptians because I just know you won't let us have wine up there."
It is our local monthly home ed adults evening tonight. If you haven't set one of these up in your local area it is a lovely thing to do, to have a place to share concerns in a supportive environment, oh, and there is almost always cake!
